3. Operation
3.1 Powering On/Off
- To power on the transmitter, press and hold the power button until the LCD illuminates.
- To power off, press and hold the power button until the LCD turns off.
3.2 LCD Display Information
The LCD screen provides essential operational information:
- Battery Status: Indicates the remaining battery charge. Recharge or replace the battery when the indicator is low.
- Group: Displays the current operating group.
- Channel: Displays the current operating channel within the selected group.
3.3 Microphone Capsule Replacement
The ACT-32HC features a removable head system, allowing for easy interchangeability of microphone capsules.
- Ensure the transmitter is powered off.
- Gently unscrew the microphone grille and capsule assembly from the transmitter body.
- Carefully detach the existing capsule.
- Attach the desired compatible condenser or dynamic microphone capsule.
- Screw the grille and capsule assembly back onto the transmitter body until secure.
4. Maintenance
- Keep the transmitter clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the battery contacts are clean and free of corrosion.
- Store the transmitter in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- When not in use for extended periods, remove the rechargeable battery to prevent potential leakage.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 No Sound or Intermittent Audio
- Check if the transmitter is powered on and the battery has sufficient charge.
- Verify that the transmitter is correctly synchronized with the receiver (check group and channel on LCD).
- Ensure the receiver is powered on and connected to the audio system.
- Check for potential interference sources (e.g., other wireless devices, Wi-Fi routers) and try changing the operating channel if necessary.
- Confirm that the microphone capsule is securely attached.
5.2 Poor Sound Quality
- Ensure the microphone grille is clean and free from debris.
- Check the distance between the transmitter and receiver; maintain it within the recommended operating range.
- Verify that the audio input sensitivity on the receiver is set correctly.
5.3 Transmitter Not Synchronizing
- Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on.
- Confirm that the IR ports of both devices are aligned and within close proximity during the ACT sync process.
- Check the receiver's manual for specific ACT sync instructions.
