4. Setup

  2. Attaching the Mixing Bowl:
    • Raise the motor head by rotating the bowl-lift lever to the down position.
    • Fit the bowl supports over the locating pins on the mixer base.
    • Press down on the back of the bowl until the locating pin snaps into the spring latch.
    • Rotate the bowl-lift lever to the up position to secure the bowl.
  3. Attaching an Accessory:
    • Ensure the mixer is unplugged and the speed control is OFF (0).
    • Slide the accessory onto the beater shaft and push upward as far as possible.
    • Rotate the accessory to the right, engaging the pin on the shaft with the slot in the accessory.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the mixer into a grounded 3-prong outlet.

The mixer features a 10-speed control knob. Always start at a lower speed and gradually increase to the desired setting to prevent splashing ingredients.

  • Stir (Speed 1): For slow stirring, combining, and adding dry ingredients.
  • Speeds 2-4: For slow mixing, mashing, and cutting in butter.
  • Speeds 5-6: For beating, creaming, and fast mixing.

The bowl-lift lever is located on the side of the mixer. Use it to raise the bowl into the mixing position before starting the mixer and to lower it for easy removal of ingredients or attachments.
