3.2. Battery Installation

The Retevis RT628 requires 3 AA batteries per unit (not included). Follow these steps to install the batteries:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the walkie talkie.
  2. Slide the latch or press the release button to open the cover.
  3. Insert 3 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover and ensure it clicks securely into place.
