  • The converter automatically detects RGB (50/60Hz) or composite video (NTSC/PAL) from the Scart input.
  • The device will automatically store the last selected output resolution setting.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, refer to the following troubleshooting tips:

  • No Picture on Display:
    • Ensure all cables (Scart, HDMI, power) are securely connected.
    • Verify the power adapter is plugged in and the Power LED on the converter is lit.
    • Check that your TV/monitor is set to the correct HDMI input channel.
    • Press the SCART (CVBS)/HD button to ensure the Scart input is selected.
    • Try pressing the 720P/1080P button to switch resolutions, as your display might not support the current output resolution.
    • Ensure the source device is powered on and outputting a signal.
  • Poor Picture Quality:
    • Check the quality of your Scart and HDMI cables. Damaged or low-quality cables can affect signal integrity.
    • Ensure the PAL/NTSC (50Hz/60Hz) setting matches your source device's output.
    • Try switching between 720p and 1080p output resolutions using the 720P/1080P button.
  • No Audio:
    • Verify that your HDMI display's audio is not muted or set to a very low volume.
    • If using the 3.5mm or coaxial audio outputs, ensure they are correctly connected to an active audio system and that the audio system is powered on and set to the correct input.
    • Some Scart sources may not output audio correctly; test with another source if possible.
  • Intermittent Signal:
    • Ensure the power supply is stable and not interrupted.
    • Check for loose cable connections.
