Harmar Mobility AL300 Fusion Lift: Scooter and Power Chair Carrier User Manual

Model: AL300 | Brand: Harmar

Product Overview

The Harmar Mobility AL300 Fusion Lift is an external vehicle carrier designed to transport both power chairs and scooters. It features a versatile design compatible with a wide range of mobility devices, utilizing four Q'Straint retractors for secure attachment. The platform automatically folds when empty, and a manual crank backup is included for convenience. A swing-away option is also available.

This lift is engineered for ease of use and reliable performance, ensuring your mobility device is transported safely and efficiently.

Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the safe operation of your AL300 Fusion Lift. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified technician. Ensure your vehicle is equipped with a Class III (2"x2") hitch receiver unless otherwise specified.

Important Vehicle Compatibility Check: Before installation, verify your vehicle's compatibility. You will need to confirm the year, make, and model of your vehicle, the make and model of your mobility scooter or power chair, the hitch class installed (Standard Class III (2" X 2") or Class II (1.25" X 1.25")), and your hitch height from the ground to the bottom of the installed hitch. Minimum requirements are 16" for a lift with a swing-away option and 18" for a lift without. If the hitch height is higher than 16", a Harmar Class III Hitch Post 5" Drop Adapter (Part# AL1235U) may be required.

The lift connects to your vehicle's battery for power. Ensure all electrical connections are secure and properly insulated.
