Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your Spigen Air Vent Car Mobile Holder Q11:

1. Prepare Your Phone with a Metal Plate

1. Choose a Metal Plate: Select either the circular or rectangular metal plate based on your phone's size and preferred placement.
2. Apply Protection Film (Recommended): To prevent any damage to your device, especially if applying the metal plate directly to the phone, first apply one of the provided protection films to the desired area on your phone or phone case.
3. Attach Metal Plate: Peel off the adhesive backing from the chosen metal plate and firmly press it onto the protection film or directly onto your phone/case. Ensure it is centered for optimal magnetic hold.

Important Note: Metal plates will hinder wireless charging capabilities. If you use wireless charging, consider placing the metal plate in a location that does not interfere with the charging coil, or remove the plate before wireless charging.

2. Install the Air Vent Mount

1. Identify Compatible Air Vents: The Q11 mount is designed for most straight air vents. Ensure your vehicle's air vent slats are straight and can securely hold the mount.

2. Attach to Air Vent: Gently push the rubberized prongs of the magnetic air vent mount onto one of the horizontal or vertical slats of your car's air vent. Ensure a firm grip. The rubber material provides a strong, firm grip and protects your vent blades from scratches.

Operating Instructions

Once the mount and metal plate are installed, using your mobile holder is straightforward:

1. Attach Your Phone: Bring your smartphone (with the metal plate attached) close to the magnetic surface of the air vent mount. The strong magnets will securely hold your device in place.
2. Adjust Viewing Angle: The mount allows for 360-degree rotation. Simply twist your device to achieve your desired orientation, whether horizontal or vertical, for optimal viewing.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Phone does not hold securely.

Solution:

• Ensure the metal plate is properly attached to your phone or case and is centered.
• Verify that the air vent mount is firmly clipped onto the air vent slat.
• Check if your phone case is too thick, which might reduce magnetic strength. Try a thinner case or place the metal plate on the outside of the case.

Problem: Mount is loose on the air vent.

Solution:

• Ensure the air vent prongs are fully inserted onto a vent slat.
• Confirm your car's air vent type is compatible (straight slats are ideal).
• Avoid placing heavy objects on the mount or phone while attached.

Problem: Wireless charging is not working.

Solution:

• The metal plate interferes with wireless charging. Remove the metal plate or reposition it to avoid the wireless charging coil area on your phone.
