Setup

1. Charging the Keyboard

Before initial use, ensure the keyboard is fully charged. Use the provided USB cable to connect the keyboard to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).

• The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging.
• A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.
• The indicator light will turn off or change color when charging is complete.

2. Pairing with Your Device

The Microsoft Universal Foldable Keyboard uses Bluetooth for wireless connection. It can be paired with up to two devices simultaneously.

1. Power On: Unfold the keyboard to automatically power it on. The power indicator light will briefly flash.
2. Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button (usually located near the function keys or on the side) for 3-5 seconds until the Bluetooth indicator light begins to flash rapidly. This indicates the keyboard is in pairing mode.
3. Enable Bluetooth on Your Device:
   • iOS (iPad/iPhone): Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth ON.
   • Android: Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth ON.
   • Windows Tablet: Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and turn Bluetooth ON.

5. Confirm Pairing: If prompted, enter the displayed pairing code on the keyboard and press Enter. The Bluetooth indicator light on the keyboard will stop flashing and remain solid for a few seconds, indicating successful pairing.
6. Pairing a Second Device: To pair a second device, repeat steps 2-5, but use the second Bluetooth pairing button (if available) or the same button after switching the active profile.
