Setup

  1. Before first use, wash all non-electric parts (egg trays, poaching tray, omelet bowl, measuring cup, lid) in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  2. Place the main unit on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
  3. Ensure the power cord is not touching any hot surfaces and is positioned safely.

Operating Instructions

The Dash Deluxe Rapid Egg Cooker features an auto-off function and a buzzer to indicate when cooking is complete, preventing overcooking.

General Operation Steps:

  1. Fill the measuring cup with the appropriate amount of water according to the desired egg consistency (soft, medium, or hard-boiled) or recipe. Pour the water directly onto the heating plate of the main unit.
  2. For boiled eggs, use the built-in egg piercer on the bottom of the measuring cup to make a small hole in the larger end of each egg. This helps prevent cracking during cooking and makes peeling easier.
  3. Place the eggs into the egg holder trays. For 12 eggs, use both tiers. For fewer eggs, you can use just one tier.
  4. For poached eggs, lightly grease the poaching tray, crack eggs into the individual sections, and place the tray on top of the egg holder tray.
  5. For omelets, whisk eggs with desired ingredients in a separate bowl, pour into the omelet bowl, and place it on top of the egg holder tray.
  6. Cover the unit with the clear lid.
  7. Plug the appliance into a power outlet and press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate.
  8. The cooker will automatically shut off and sound a buzzer when the water has evaporated and the eggs are cooked to the desired consistency.
  9. Carefully remove the lid (steam will be hot) and transfer the cooked eggs or other food. For boiled eggs, immediately place them in an ice bath or run under cold water to stop the cooking process and facilitate easier peeling.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your egg cooker. All non-electric parts are dishwasher safe.

  1. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wash the egg holder trays, poaching tray, omelet bowl, measuring cup, and lid in warm, soapy water or place them on the top rack of your dishwasher.
  3. To clean the heating plate: If mineral deposits or discoloration (rust-colored or white spots) appear due to hard water, mix 1 part white vinegar with 9 parts water in the cooker (do not overfill). Heat the solution briefly until it bubbles, then turn off and unplug the device. Carefully pour out the mixture. Use a wet cloth or sponge to wipe down the heating plate while it is still warm (be cautious). Towel dry thoroughly.
  4. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
