Operating Instructions
- Prime Unit (First Use): If using for the first time, set the pressure control dial to the highest setting. Direct the tip into the sink. Turn the unit ON until water flows from the tip. Then turn the unit OFF.
- Adjust Pressure: Set the pressure control dial to the lowest setting (1) for initial use. Gradually increase the pressure to a comfortable level as you get accustomed to the device.
- Position Tip: Lean over the sink and place the tip in your mouth, aiming the water stream at your gumline at a 90-degree angle. Close your lips slightly to prevent splashing, but allow water to flow from your mouth into the sink.
- Start Flossing: Turn the unit ON. Guide the tip along your gumline, pausing briefly between teeth. Work your way around your entire mouth, both on the front and back of your teeth.
- Tongue Cleaning (Optional): Use the tongue cleaner tip. Set the pressure to a low setting. Place the tongue cleaner on the back of your tongue and move it forward, gently cleaning the surface.
- Finish: When finished, turn the unit OFF. Empty any remaining water from the reservoir.
