Operating Instructions

The Ivation Table Lamp features a single toggle switch on the back to select between different operating modes:

  • Off Mode: When the switch is in the central position, the lamp is turned off.
  • Moonlight Mode: Move the switch to the position marked with a crescent moon icon. This activates the 6 warm white LEDs, providing a gentle, ambient light at 30 Lumens. This mode is ideal for creating a relaxed atmosphere or as a nightlight.
  • Daylight Mode: Move the switch to the position marked with a sun icon. This activates the 6 cool white LEDs, providing a brighter illumination at 45 Lumens. This mode is suitable for reading or general task lighting.
  • Automatic (Motion/Light Sensing) Mode: Move the switch to the position marked with an 'A' or 'Auto' icon. In this mode, the lamp will activate its 6 daylight-temperature LEDs only when motion is sensed in dark conditions. The motion sensor has a range of 110° x 90° and detects motion up to 4 meters away. The light will remain on for approximately 60 seconds after all motion has ceased. This mode is designed for convenience in areas where light is only needed temporarily.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your lamp, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive materials, or immerse the lamp in water, as this can damage the electronic components and finish.

Battery Replacement

When the light output becomes dim or the lamp stops functioning, it is time to replace the batteries. Refer to the 'Setup: Battery Installation' section for instructions on how to safely replace the 4 C-size batteries. Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones.

Troubleshooting

  • Lamp not turning on:
    • Ensure the batteries are correctly installed with proper polarity.
    • Check if the batteries are new and fully charged. Replace if necessary.
    • Verify the toggle switch is in the desired operating mode (Moonlight, Daylight, or Automatic), not in the 'Off' position.
  • Motion sensor not activating:
    • Ensure the lamp is in 'Automatic' mode.
    • The motion sensor only activates in dark conditions. Test in a sufficiently dark environment.
    • Check battery level; low batteries can affect sensor performance.
    • Ensure the sensor lens is clean and unobstructed.
  • Light is dim or flickers:
    • This typically indicates low battery power. Replace all 4 C-size batteries.
