Setup (Installation)

This shower faucet is designed for a 1/2 inch IPS installation, suitable for mobile or modular homes. Professional installation is recommended.

  1. Prepare the Area: Turn off the main water supply to the shower area. Clear the work area and ensure you have all necessary tools.
  2. Remove Old Faucet (if applicable): Carefully remove any existing shower faucet components.
  3. Install Valve Assembly: Connect the valve assembly to the hot and cold water supply lines. Ensure all connections are tight and sealed to prevent leaks.
  4. Install Showerhead Arm: Secure the showerhead arm to the wall connection. Apply plumber's tape to threaded connections for a watertight seal.
  5. Attach Showerhead: Screw the single-function showerhead onto the showerhead arm. Hand-tighten, then use a wrench for a final snug fit, being careful not to overtighten.
  6. Install Handles: Attach the hot and cold knob handles to their respective valve stems.
  7. Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply and check all connections for leaks. If leaks are present, tighten connections as needed.

Operating Instructions

The Project Source shower faucet features two knob handles for precise temperature control.

  • Turning On/Off: Rotate either the hot (marked 'H') or cold (marked 'C') knob handle clockwise to turn off the water, and counter-clockwise to turn on the water.
  • Adjusting Temperature: Adjust the hot and cold handles simultaneously to achieve your desired water temperature.
  • Showerhead Function: The single-function showerhead provides a consistent spray pattern. No adjustments are needed for the spray type.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and proper care will help maintain the appearance and functionality of your shower faucet.

  • Cleaning the Finish: Clean the chrome finish with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can scratch or damage the finish.
  • Showerhead Cleaning: If mineral deposits build up on the showerhead nozzles, gently rub them with your finger or a soft brush to dislodge the deposits. For stubborn buildup, a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water can be used.
  • Drip-Free Cartridges: This faucet is equipped with drip-free cartridges designed for long-lasting, leak-free performance. If a drip occurs, contact customer support or a qualified plumber for cartridge replacement.
