4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 3.2).
2. Slide the cover downwards to open the compartment.
3. Insert one AA battery (not included) into the compartment, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it upwards until it clicks into place.

4.2 Setting the Time:

1. Locate the "TIME" setting knob on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 3.2).
2. Rotate the "TIME" knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the current time. The hour and minute hands will move accordingly.
3. Ensure you set the correct AM/PM time if applicable, especially when setting the alarm.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Setting the Alarm:

1. Locate the "ALARM" setting knob on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 3.2).
2. Rotate the "ALARM" knob to set your desired alarm time. The small alarm hand on the dial will move.
3. Ensure the "ALM ON/OFF" switch (refer to Figure 3.2) is in the "ON" position to activate the alarm.
4. The alarm will sound at the set time with a crescendo beep, gradually increasing in volume.

5.2 Using the Backlight:

To temporarily illuminate the clock face in the dark, press the button located on the top of the clock. The backlight will remain on as long as the button is pressed.

5.3 Snooze Function:

When the alarm sounds, press the button on the top of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes (typically 5-9 minutes, exact duration may vary). To turn off the alarm completely, slide the "ALM ON/OFF" switch to the "OFF" position.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning:

• Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth.
