Setup and Installation

Connecting the Phone:

  1. Connect the Handset: Plug the coiled cord into the handset port on the phone base and into the handset.
  2. Connect the Base Stand: Attach the base stand to the bottom of the phone.
  3. Connect to Network (PoE): If using Power over Ethernet (PoE), connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the phone and the other end to a PoE-enabled switch or injector. The phone will power on automatically.
  4. Connect to Network (Non-PoE) and Power: If PoE is not available, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the phone and the other end to a network switch/router. Then, connect the universal power supply to the power port on the phone and plug it into a power outlet.
  5. Connect to PC (Optional): If you wish to connect a PC through the phone, connect an Ethernet cable from the PC port on the phone to your computer's network port.

Initial Configuration:

Upon first boot, the phone will attempt to obtain an IP address via DHCP. For advanced configuration, such as SIP account setup, refer to the Administrator Guide or contact your VoIP service provider.

  1. Pick up the handset, press the Speaker button, or press an available LINE key.
  2. Dial the desired number.
  3. Press the SEND button or wait a few seconds for automatic dialing.
