3. Setup and Assembly
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present against the packing list provided with your saw. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
3.2 Leg Assembly
The DC-250 Python features foldable legs with integrated wheels. To set up the saw for operation, unfold the legs and ensure they are securely locked into their extended positions. Verify stability before proceeding.
3.3 Water Tray and Pump Installation
Position the water tray beneath the cutting table. Install the water pump into the tray, ensuring it is fully submerged. Connect the pump hose to the C3 Python cooling system nozzle, routing it to allow adjustment over the blade.
3.4 Blade Installation
The saw includes an Arrowhead 10" diamond blade (ref#31900). Follow these steps for installation or replacement:
- Disconnect Power: Always ensure the saw is unplugged from the power supply.
- Remove Blade Guard: Carefully unfasten and remove the blade guard to access the blade arbor.
- Loosen Nut: Use the provided wrench to loosen the blade retaining nut. Note that some nuts may be reverse-threaded.
- Install Blade: Carefully place the new blade onto the arbor, ensuring the rotation arrow on the blade matches the direction of the saw's rotation.
- Secure Blade: Tighten the retaining nut securely.
- Reattach Guard: Reinstall the blade guard and ensure it is properly secured before operation.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power Connection
Connect the saw to a grounded 120 V - 60HZ electrical outlet. Ensure the circuit can safely handle the saw's 1103 watts power consumption.
4.2 Water Cooling System (C3 Python)
Fill the water tray with clean water until the pump is fully submerged. Adjust the C3 Python cooling system nozzle to direct a steady stream of water precisely onto the cutting point of the blade. This is crucial for cooling the blade and reducing dust.
4.3 Making a Cut
Before cutting, ensure the material is clean and free of debris. Wear all recommended PPE.
- Standard Cuts: Place the tile firmly against the adjustable square. Turn on the saw. Slowly lower the blade into the material and push the material through the blade at a consistent, moderate speed. Avoid forcing the cut.
- Miter Cuts: The motor assembly can be tilted and secured at angles up to 45° for miter cuts. Adjust the angle precisely and lock it before starting the cut.
- Repetitive Cuts: Utilize the lateral stop on the adjustable aluminum square to ensure consistent lengths for repetitive cuts at 0° and 45°.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential for the longevity and optimal performance of your RUBI DC-250 Python 1200. Always disconnect the saw from the power supply before performing any maintenance.
5.1 Cleaning
After each use, clean the saw thoroughly. The removable aluminum tables can be easily detached for comprehensive cleaning. Remove all tile debris, sludge, and sediment from the water tray, cutting area, and around the motor assembly. Rinse with clean water.
5.2 Water Pump
Regularly inspect and clean the water pump and its filter to prevent clogs and ensure consistent water flow for the cooling system. A clogged pump can lead to overheating of the blade and motor.
5.3 Blade Care
Inspect the diamond blade for signs of wear, chipping, or damage. A dull or damaged blade will reduce cutting efficiency and quality. Replace worn blades promptly to maintain optimal performance and safety.
5.4 General Inspection
Periodically check all nuts, bolts, and fasteners for tightness. Inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. Lubricate moving parts, such as the sliding bearings of the motor assembly, according to manufacturer recommendations.
