4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

5.2 Using the Hold Function

The 'Hold' function allows you to freeze the current moisture reading on the display. This is particularly useful when inspecting areas where the meter's surface is not easily visible during measurement.

1. Take a measurement as described above.
2. While the reading is displayed, press the 'Hold' button (refer to device's button layout for exact location).
