Operating Instructions
Applying the Cuff
- Ensure the cuff is placed directly on your bare upper arm, approximately 1/2 inch above the elbow.
- Align the artery mark on the cuff with your brachial artery (inner arm).
- Tighten the cuff, leaving enough space for two fingers to fit comfortably underneath.

Taking a Measurement
For accurate results, follow these guidelines:
- Sit quietly for 5 minutes prior to measurement.
- Use the same arm for consistent readings (preferably the left arm).
- Measure around the same time each day.
- Empty your bladder before measuring.
- Sit with both feet flat on the floor.
- Relax your arm and press the start button.
Avoid eating, using tobacco, or exercising beforehand. Do not talk or make unnecessary movements during measurement. Ensure clothing does not interfere with the cuff. Not following these tips can result in readings that are 10-40 mmHg off.
Understanding Your Readings
The Microlife BPM2 displays Systolic Blood Pressure, Diastolic Blood Pressure, and Pulse. It also includes a Hypertension Risk Indicator and an Irregular Heartbeat Detector.
Memory Recall
The monitor stores the last 60 results and can display your average based on all stored memories. Use the 'M' button to access stored readings.
App Integration
While the device does not connect directly to an app, you can manually enter your results into the Microlife Connect App (free download) to track your blood pressure and pulse over time, and send results to your healthcare provider.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Microlife BPM2 monitor, consider the following common solutions:
- "Err" Message: This often indicates an issue with cuff placement or movement during measurement. Ensure the cuff is correctly applied, you are sitting still, and the room is quiet.
- Inconsistent Readings: Verify proper cuff size and placement. Ensure you are following all pre-measurement guidelines (e.g., resting for 5 minutes, avoiding talking).
- No Display: Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
