4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Wash the bean hopper, grind jar, and their lids in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The main unit should be wiped with a damp cloth.
  3. Assemble: Place the grind jar onto the base, ensuring it is securely seated. Position the bean hopper on top of the grinder unit.
  4. Plug In: Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet.

5.1. Adjusting Grind Settings

The grind selector dial allows you to choose from 15 grind levels, suitable for various brewing methods:

Rotate the grind selector dial to your desired setting. It is recommended to adjust the grind setting when the grinder is empty or running to prevent burr damage.

5.2. Grinding Coffee

  1. Fill Hopper: Pour whole coffee beans into the bean hopper. Do not overfill beyond the MAX line.
  2. Select Grind: Choose your desired grind setting using the grind selector dial.
  3. Start Grinding: Flip the On/Off switch to the 'ON' position. The grinder will begin processing the beans.
  4. Stop Grinding: Once the desired amount of coffee is ground, flip the On/Off switch to the 'OFF' position.

  5. Wipe Base: Wipe the exterior of the grinder base with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  6. Dry and Reassemble: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling the grinder.
