4. Setup and Installation

Installation of the Sauter SPI4362B induction hob should only be performed by a qualified electrician or authorized service technician.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Turning On/Off

  • To turn on: Press the main power button. The display will show '0' for each zone.
  • To turn off: Press the main power button again.

  • Place an induction-compatible pan on the desired cooking zone.
  • Select the zone by touching its corresponding control.
  • Adjust the power level using the '+' and '-' controls or by selecting one of the 14 available positions.
  • Use the Booster shortcut for rapid heating.

5.3. EasyCook Function

The EasyCook function (indicated by an Eco label) helps identify the most suitable cooking zone for your cookware. When activated, it guides you to the optimal zone, contributing to faster temperature achievement and energy savings.

5.4. Centralized Lock

Activate the centralized lock function to prevent accidental changes to settings, especially useful when cleaning the hob or to prevent children from operating it. Refer to the control panel for the specific lock button.

5.5. Residual Heat Indicator

After a cooking zone is switched off, an 'H' will appear on the display if the zone is still hot enough to cause burns. Do not touch the surface until the 'H' disappears.

5.6. Container Detection

The hob automatically detects if a suitable pan is placed on the cooking zone. If no pan is detected or if the pan is unsuitable, the hob will not activate or will switch off after a short period.

Regular cleaning helps maintain the appearance and performance of your induction hob.

  • Always ensure the hob is switched off and cool before cleaning.
  • For light soiling, wipe the ceramic glass surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
