2. Product Overview
The ZAGG YW2-LEACSIPAD is a protective folio case with an integrated Bluetooth keyboard designed for compatible tablets. It offers a hard case for device protection and a full-featured keyboard for enhanced productivity. The keyboard connects wirelessly via Bluetooth technology.

4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Keyboard
Before initial use, fully charge your ZAGG keyboard. The keyboard is powered by an internal rechargeable battery.
- Locate the charging port on the keyboard (typically on the side or back edge).
- Connect the smaller end of the provided USB charging cable to the keyboard's charging port.
- Connect the larger end of the USB charging cable to a powered USB port (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
- The charging indicator light (if present) will illuminate to show charging status. Allow approximately 2-4 hours for a full charge.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.
4.2 Inserting Your Tablet
Carefully insert your compatible tablet into the protective hard case section of the folio.
- Open the folio case.
- Align your tablet with the case, ensuring all ports, buttons, and cameras are correctly aligned with the case cutouts.
- Gently press the tablet into the case until it is securely seated. Do not force the tablet into the case.

4.3 Pairing the Bluetooth Keyboard
To use the keyboard, it must be paired with your tablet via Bluetooth.
- Turn on the Keyboard: Locate the power switch on the keyboard (refer to Figure 4.3) and slide it to the "ON" position. The power indicator light may briefly illuminate.
- Activate Pairing Mode: Press and hold the "Connect" or "Bluetooth" button on the keyboard for a few seconds until the Bluetooth indicator light begins to flash. This indicates the keyboard is in pairing mode.
- Enable Bluetooth on Your Tablet:
- Go to your tablet's Settings.
- Select Bluetooth.
- Ensure Bluetooth is turned ON.
- Select the Keyboard: Your tablet will search for available Bluetooth devices. Look for "ZAGG Keyboard" or a similar name in the list of devices and tap on it.
- Confirm Pairing: Your tablet may display a pairing code. Type this code on the ZAGG keyboard and press Enter.
- Pairing Complete: Once successfully paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the keyboard will stop flashing and may turn solid or turn off. Your tablet will show the keyboard as "Connected."

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Slide the power switch to the "ON" position. The status indicator light will briefly illuminate.
- To Power Off: Slide the power switch to the "OFF" position. This conserves battery life when the keyboard is not in use.
5.2 Basic Keyboard Usage
Once paired, the keyboard functions like a standard computer keyboard. Open any application on your tablet that requires text input (e.g., word processor, email, web browser) and begin typing.

- Function Keys: The top row of keys may include special function keys (e.g., volume control, media playback, home screen). These typically work by pressing the Fn key simultaneously with the desired function key, or they may operate directly depending on your tablet's operating system.
- Adjusting Viewing Angle: The folio case allows for various viewing angles. Adjust your tablet to the most comfortable position for typing or media consumption.
6. Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life of your ZAGG Folio Case and Keyboard.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the exterior of the case and keyboard. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
