4.2 Receiver Connection
The FS-iA6 receiver is a 6-channel unit. Connect your servos, ESC, and other components to the appropriate channels on the receiver. Ensure all connections are secure and correctly oriented.
- CH1-CH6: Connect servos or ESCs according to your model's requirements.
- B/VCC: This port is typically used for battery input or for connecting the bind plug during the binding process.

4.3 Binding Procedure
Binding is the process of linking the transmitter and receiver so they can communicate. This procedure needs to be performed once for each new receiver or if the transmitter's settings are reset.
- Ensure the transmitter is powered OFF.
- Insert the bind plug into the B/VCC port on the FS-iA6 receiver.
- Connect power to the receiver (e.g., via an ESC or a separate battery pack). The receiver's LED should flash rapidly, indicating it is in binding mode.
- While holding down the BIND KEY button on the transmitter, power ON the transmitter.
- The transmitter's LCD screen will display a binding progress or confirmation message. The receiver's LED should stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful binding.
- Release the BIND KEY button on the transmitter.
- Power OFF both the receiver and the transmitter.
- Remove the bind plug from the receiver.
- Power ON the transmitter first, then the receiver. The receiver's LED should be solid, confirming a successful connection.
Important: Always power on the transmitter before the receiver and power off the receiver before the transmitter to prevent unintended model operation.

7. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable operation of your RC system:
- Keep the transmitter and receiver clean and free from dust, dirt, and moisture. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposing the components to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Regularly check all cables and connectors for signs of wear or damage. Replace any damaged parts immediately.
- Remove batteries from the transmitter if it will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Store the system in a safe place, away from strong magnetic fields or static electricity.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your GoolRC Flysky FS-i6 system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Receiver LED not solid after power-on | Not bound, low receiver power, or transmitter off | Perform binding procedure (Section 4.3). Check receiver power supply. Ensure transmitter is ON. |
| No control response from model | Receiver not bound, incorrect channel connections, or low battery voltage | Verify binding. Check all servo/ESC connections to the receiver. Check transmitter and receiver battery levels. |
| Transmitter not powering on | Dead or incorrectly installed batteries | Replace AA batteries with fresh ones. Ensure correct polarity during installation. |
| Intermittent signal loss | Antenna obstruction, range issue, or interference | Ensure receiver antennas are properly positioned and not obstructed. Operate within specified range. Avoid areas with high RF interference. |
| Controls are reversed | Servo reverse setting is incorrect | Adjust the servo reverse settings in the transmitter's menu for the affected channel. |
