Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Main Display Unit: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main unit. Insert the required batteries (e.g., 2 x AAA, not specified in data, assuming common type) according to the polarity markings (+/-). Close the cover.
- Wireless Outdoor Sensor: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the sensor. Insert the required batteries (e.g., 2 x AAA, not specified in data) according to the polarity markings (+/-). Close the cover.
Note: Always install batteries in the main unit first, then in the wireless sensor, to ensure proper synchronization.
2. Sensor Placement
- Place the wireless outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct sunlight and rain, to ensure accurate temperature readings.
- Ensure the sensor is within the 30-meter transmission range of the main unit. Walls, metal objects, and electronic devices can reduce the effective range.
- Avoid placing the sensor near heat sources (e.g., vents, windows) or cold sources (e.g., refrigerators).
3. Synchronization
After installing batteries in both units, the main unit will automatically attempt to connect with the outdoor sensor. This may take a few minutes. Once connected, the outdoor temperature will appear on the main display. If synchronization fails, remove batteries from both units, wait a few seconds, and re-insert them, following the main unit first, then sensor sequence.
