2. Product Overview

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove all packaging materials, including any protective film or tape.

- Ensure all accessories, including shelves and shelf clips, are present.
3.2 Location
- Place the freezer on a strong, level floor capable of supporting the unit's weight.
- Avoid direct sunlight or proximity to heat-generating equipment (e.g., ovens, heaters).
- Ensure adequate air circulation around the unit. Maintain a minimum of 4 inches (10 cm) clearance from walls or other obstructions on all sides and top.
- The unit is equipped with 2-1/2" casters for mobility. Once positioned, ensure the casters are locked to prevent accidental movement.
3.3 Electrical Connection
- Before plugging in, allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2 hours to allow compressor oils to settle.
- Connect the freezer to a dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15 Amp (minimum) grounded electrical outlet.
- Do not use extension cords or multi-outlet adapters.
3.4 Shelf Installation
- Insert the provided shelf clips into the desired slots on the interior shelf supports.
- Place the four wire shelves onto the clips, ensuring they are level and securely seated.
- Adjust shelf height as needed to accommodate different product sizes.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Initial Startup
- After connecting to power, the unit will begin to cool.
- Allow the freezer to operate empty for at least 2-4 hours to reach the desired temperature before loading products.
- The digital display will show the current internal temperature.
4.2 Temperature Control
- The electronic thermostat is controlled via a digital LED display located on the front of the unit.
- Refer to the specific controls on the unit for setting the desired temperature. Typically, there are "Set" or "Program" buttons along with up/down arrows.
- The recommended operating temperature for frozen foods is -10°F (-23°C).
4.3 Loading Products
- Do not overload shelves. Ensure proper air circulation around products for efficient cooling.
- Avoid blocking the internal air vents.
- Ensure the self-closing door fully seals after each opening to maintain temperature.
4.4 Door Lock
The glass door is equipped with a lock to secure contents when the unit is not in service or unattended. Use the provided key to lock and unlock the door.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Interior
- Disconnect Power: Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Remove all products and shelves.
- Clean the interior surfaces with a mild detergent and warm water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or sharp objects.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry completely before restoring power and reloading products.
- Clean shelves with warm, soapy water and dry them before reinstallation.
5.2 Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe down the black baked enamel steel exterior with a soft cloth and mild cleaner.
- Clean the glass door with a glass cleaner. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the door seals or electrical components.
5.3 Condenser Coil Cleaning
The condenser coil, located in the bottom section, should be cleaned regularly (monthly or quarterly, depending on environment) to ensure efficient operation. Dust and debris accumulation can reduce cooling efficiency and increase energy consumption.
- Disconnect Power: Unplug the unit.
- Remove the front grille panel to access the condenser coil.
- Use a stiff brush or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris from the coil fins.
- Reinstall the grille panel and restore power.
5.4 Door Gaskets
Inspect door gaskets regularly for cracks or tears. Clean them with warm, soapy water. Ensure they form a tight seal when the door is closed to prevent cold air loss.
