Mounting

This hood is designed for under-cabinet mounting. Ensure the cabinet structure can support the weight of the hood. The system includes easy installation features. The air outlet is rectangular but comes with a round adapter.

Operating Instructions

The CATA TF 2003 DURALUM 60 features mechanical controls for easy operation.

Power and Speed Control

The hood is equipped with a 100W tangential motor and offers 2 extraction speeds. The airflow can be regulated between 150 m³/h and 390 m³/h.

  • Speed 1: Minimum power for light cooking, with a noise level of 45 dB(A).
  • Speed 2: Maximum power for intensive cooking, with a noise level up to 57 dB(A).

Lighting

The hood includes LED lighting to provide direct visibility over your cooking area. Use the dedicated switch to turn the lights on or off.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Cleaning the Filters

The metallic grease filters are washable and dishwasher safe. It is recommended to clean them regularly, depending on usage, to maintain extraction efficiency.

  1. Ensure the hood is disconnected from the power supply.
  2. Remove the filters by releasing their locking mechanisms.
  3. Wash the filters by hand with hot soapy water or place them in a dishwasher.
  4. Allow filters to dry completely before re-installing.

Cleaning the Exterior and Interior

The hood features a DURALUM anti-fingerprint stainless steel finish, making it easy to clean. The shielded interior also facilitates maintenance.
