4. Maintenance
Water Resistance
This watch is 3ATM water-resistant, meaning it can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion like handwashing. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, or diving. Do not press any buttons while the watch is wet or submerged.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses two CR2032 batteries. When the display becomes dim or unresponsive, it may be time to replace the batteries. A spare battery is often included with the watch.

Figure 7: Instructions for replacing the CR2032 battery.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the watch.
- Use a coin (approximately 2mm thick) to turn the cover counter-clockwise to the 'OPEN' position.
- Carefully remove the old batteries.
- Insert new CR2032 batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Place the cover back and turn it clockwise to the 'CLOSE' position, ensuring it is securely sealed.
Strap Care
The watch features a quick-release leather strap for easy removal and replacement. To clean the leather strap, wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme moisture to preserve the leather's quality.
5. Troubleshooting
Screen Flashing
The E-Ink display technology requires a full screen refresh to update its content. This results in a brief, momentary flash or inversion of the display each minute when the time changes. This is a normal characteristic of E-Ink screens and not a malfunction.

Figure 8: The watch screen performs a brief flash each minute as part of its E-Ink display refresh cycle.
Display Freezes or Becomes Unresponsive
If the watch display freezes or becomes unresponsive, the batteries may be low or depleted. Refer to the 'Battery Replacement' section for instructions on how to replace the CR2032 batteries.
