Setup and Installation

Follow these steps carefully for a secure installation.

Step 1: Determine Wall Type and Location

  • Locate a suitable position on your wall, ensuring it is free from electrical wires or plumbing.
  • Use a stud finder to locate wood studs if mounting to a wood stud wall. Mark the center of the studs.
  • For concrete or solid block walls, ensure the wall is structurally sound.

Step 2: Mount the Wall Plate

  1. Position the wall plate at the desired height and level it. Mark the drilling locations through the holes on the wall plate.
  2. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. The size of the drill bit will depend on your wall type and the anchors provided.
  3. Secure the wall plate to the wall using the appropriate screws and anchors. Ensure it is firmly attached and level.

Step 3: Attach TV Brackets to Television

  1. Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface.
  2. Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV. This mount supports VESA patterns: 75x75mm, 100x100mm, 200x100mm, and 200x200mm.
  3. Select the correct diameter and length screws from the hardware kit that fit your TV's mounting holes. Use washers and spacers if necessary to ensure a snug fit without overtightening.
  4. Attach the two TV bracket arms to the back of your television. Ensure they are securely fastened and level with each other.

Step 4: Mount Television to Wall Plate

  1. With assistance, carefully lift the television with the attached brackets.
  2. Hook the TV bracket arms onto the wall plate. Ensure the TV is securely seated on the wall plate.
  3. Engage any safety locking mechanisms on the TV brackets to prevent accidental dislodgement.

Step 5: Cable Management

Use the provided cable management clips to route and secure cables along the articulating arm, ensuring they do not interfere with the mount's movement or become pinched.

Operating the Mount

This full-motion mount offers flexibility for optimal viewing angles.

  • Swivel: The mount allows for 90 degrees of swivel (left to right). Gently push or pull the TV to adjust the horizontal viewing angle.
  • Tilt: The mount can tilt from +20 to -20 degrees. Loosen the tilt adjustment knobs (if present) on the TV brackets, adjust the screen to the desired vertical angle, and then retighten the knobs to secure the position.
  • Extension: The articulating arm allows the TV to extend from 3.9 inches (100mm) when folded flat to the wall, up to 15.4 inches (391mm) when fully extended.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Periodic Checks: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure. Retighten if necessary.
  • Lubrication: No lubrication is typically required for this type of mount.

Troubleshooting

  • TV Not Level: Ensure the wall plate was installed level. If the TV brackets allow for minor rotational adjustment, correct it. Otherwise, you may need to re-adjust the wall plate.
  • Screws Don't Fit TV: Verify your TV's VESA pattern and screw requirements. The mount includes a variety of screws, but some TVs may require specific sizes not included. Consult your TV's manual or a hardware store.
  • Mount Feels Loose: Immediately remove the TV and re-check all wall plate and TV bracket connections. Ensure all screws are tightened to the appropriate torque and that the wall anchors are properly installed.
