4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Reversible Handle
The Evenflo Grand Trip Stroller features a reversible handle, allowing you to easily change the direction your child faces. To reverse the handle, lift the lateral levers on both sides of the handle and swing the handle over to the opposite side until it locks securely into place.
4.2 5-Point Harness System
Always secure your child with the 5-point harness system. Place your child in the seat, bring the shoulder straps over their shoulders, and the waist straps around their waist. Insert the buckle tongues into the central buckle until they click. Adjust the straps for a snug fit, ensuring no more than one finger can fit between the strap and your child's body.
4.3 Reclining Positions
The stroller offers three reclining positions for your child's comfort. To adjust the recline, locate the recline mechanism on the back of the seat. Squeeze the lever or press the button and adjust the seat to the desired angle. Ensure the seat is securely locked in the chosen position before placing your child in it.
4.4 Canopy Adjustment
The canopy is foldable and removable, designed to protect your child from the sun. To adjust, simply push or pull the canopy to extend or retract it. To remove, locate the attachment points and unfasten them.
4.5 Brakes
The stroller is equipped with brakes on the rear wheels. To engage the brakes, press down firmly on the brake levers located near each rear wheel until they lock. To release, lift the levers. Always engage both brakes when the stroller is stationary.

Once folded, ensure the stroller's frame is secured with the designated latch to prevent accidental unfolding.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Clean the stroller fabric with a mild soap and cold water solution. Do not use bleach. Air dry. The frame can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly.
6.2 Wheel Maintenance
Regularly check the wheels for debris and remove any dirt or hair that may impede their movement. Lubricate axles periodically with a silicone-based lubricant if needed.
6.3 General Care
Store the stroller in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and material degradation. Periodically check all fasteners and connections to ensure they are secure.
7. Troubleshooting
- Stroller not folding/unfolding smoothly: Ensure all locking mechanisms are disengaged/engaged correctly. Check for any obstructions in the folding joints.
- Wheels squeaking or not turning: Clean the wheels and axles. Apply a small amount of lubricant if necessary. Ensure no debris is caught in the wheel mechanism.
- Harness not securing: Check that the buckle tongues are fully inserted into the central buckle. Ensure straps are not twisted and are adjusted correctly.
- Stroller feels unstable: Verify that the frame is fully unfolded and all locking mechanisms are engaged. Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity.
