3. Installation & Setup

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your dealer immediately. Keep packaging materials until the unit has been inspected.

3.2 Placement

• Place the dispenser on a flat, level, and sturdy surface capable of supporting its weight (approximately 136 pounds) plus the weight of a full keg.
• Ensure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clearance at the back and sides for proper ventilation.
• Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. While designed for outdoor use, extreme heat can affect performance.
• This unit is freestanding. Do not enclose it in cabinetry without ensuring adequate ventilation.

3.3 Electrical Connection

Connect the appliance to a dedicated, grounded 115V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. The circuit should be protected by a 15-amp fuse or circuit breaker. Do not use a two-prong adapter or extension cord.

3.4 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean the interior of the dispenser with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Clean the beer lines and tap system according to the manufacturer's instructions for your specific tap kit (not included with the dispenser unit).

4. Operation

4.1 Loading a Keg

1. Open the dispenser door.
2. Carefully place the keg inside the unit. Ensure it is stable and centered.
3. Connect the tap coupler to the keg valve following the tap kit instructions.
4. Connect the CO2 line to the regulator and the regulator to the CO2 tank.
5. Adjust the CO2 pressure as recommended by your beer supplier (typically 10-12 PSI).
6. Close the dispenser door securely.

4.2 Temperature Control

The dispenser features an internal thermostat. Use the control panel, typically located inside the unit or on the front panel, to set the desired temperature. Allow several hours for the unit to reach the set temperature after initial setup or after loading a new, warm keg.

4.3 Dispensing Beer

To dispense beer, place a glass under the tap faucet. Pull the tap handle forward completely to open the flow. Push the handle back completely to close the flow. Avoid partially opening the tap, as this can cause excessive foam.

4.4 Water Dispenser

The integrated water dispenser can be used for rinsing glasses or for cleaning purposes. Ensure the unit is connected to a water supply line if this feature is to be utilized. Refer to your plumbing instructions for proper water line connection.

5. Maintenance & Cleaning

5.1 Exterior Cleaning

Clean the stainless steel exterior with a soft cloth and a mild stainless steel cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can scratch the surface. Wipe in the direction of the grain.

5.2 Interior Cleaning

Regularly clean the interior with a mild detergent and warm water. Remove any spills promptly. Ensure the drain pan is emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent odors and mold growth.

5.3 Beer Line and Tap Cleaning

For optimal taste and hygiene, the beer lines and tap system should be cleaned every 2-3 weeks, or with every keg change. Use a specialized beer line cleaning solution and follow the instructions provided with your tap cleaning kit. This is crucial to prevent bacterial buildup and off-flavors.

5.4 Condenser Coil Cleaning

Periodically (every 3-6 months), clean the condenser coils located at the back or bottom of the unit. Dust and debris can accumulate, reducing cooling efficiency. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to gently remove buildup. Disconnect power before cleaning.
