- Power Connection: Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage of your outlet matches the requirements of the appliance.
5. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to achieve optimal deep waves:
- Prepare Hair: Ensure your hair is clean, completely dry, and detangled. For best results and heat protection, apply a heat protectant spray evenly throughout your hair.
- Power On and Heat Selection: Plug in the waver. Slide the On/Off switch to the 'ON' position. Select your desired heat setting using the temperature dial. Allow the waver to heat up for approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute until it reaches the selected temperature.
- Section Hair: Divide your hair into manageable sections, typically 1-2 inches wide. Use clips to secure the unstyled sections.
- Create Waves: Starting from the roots (or desired starting point), place a section of hair between the waver plates. Gently clamp down, holding for a few seconds (typically 3-5 seconds, depending on hair type and desired wave intensity).
- Continue Waving: Release the clamp and move the waver down the same section of hair, overlapping the last wave to ensure a continuous pattern. Repeat until the entire section is waved.
- Style Remaining Hair: Continue this process for all sections of your hair.
- Cool Down: Once all hair is waved, allow the waves to cool completely before touching or brushing them. This helps to set the waves and ensure longevity.
- Finish: For a more natural look, gently run your fingers through the waves. For added hold, apply a light hairspray.
- Power Off: After use, slide the On/Off switch to the 'OFF' position and unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
