Unpacking and Contents
Verify that all items are present in the box:

Charging the Battery
- Insert the NP-BX1 battery into the camera.
- Connect the camera to the AC Adaptor using the Micro USB cable.
- Plug the AC Adaptor into a wall outlet. The charge lamp will illuminate.
- Charging is complete when the charge lamp turns off.
Note: Charge the battery fully before first use. Charging time may vary.
Inserting a Memory Card
The camera supports SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards and Memory Stick Duo. Open the battery/memory card cover and insert the memory card with the correct orientation until it clicks into place. Close the cover securely.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
Press the POWER button to turn the camera on or off. The lens will extend upon power-on.
Shooting Modes
Rotate the mode dial on top of the camera to select a shooting mode:
- Superior Auto: Automatically optimizes settings for various scenes.
- Program Auto (P): Allows manual control over some settings while the camera sets exposure.
- Aperture Priority (A): Adjust aperture manually to control depth of field.
- Shutter Priority (S): Adjust shutter speed manually to control motion blur.
