4. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your food processor.

Cleaning Instructions:

  • Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
  • Removable Parts: All removable parts (bowls, lids, blades, discs, pushers) are dishwasher safe. For best results and to prevent staining, especially with colorful foods like carrots or beets, rinse parts immediately after use.
  • Hand Washing: For plastic components, hand washing is recommended to preserve their appearance and extend their lifespan.
  • Storage: Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing. The compact design allows for easy storage in cabinets or under countertops.

5. Troubleshooting

If your Braun FP3020 Food Processor is not operating as expected, please check the following:

  • Appliance Not Starting: Ensure the processing bowl is correctly locked onto the motor base and the lid is securely fastened. The safety interlock system prevents operation if parts are not properly aligned.
  • Power Connection: Verify that the appliance is securely plugged into a functioning power outlet.
  • Overload Protection: If the motor stops during operation, it may be due to an overload. Turn off the appliance, unplug it, remove some ingredients, and allow it to cool down for a few minutes before restarting.
  • Unusual Noise/Vibration: Check that all attachments are correctly installed and that no foreign objects are in the bowl.
