Setup
1. Installing Batteries in the Guitar Controller
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the wireless guitar controller.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Connecting the Guitar Controller to your Xbox One
- Insert the USB dongle into an available USB port on your Xbox One console.
- Turn on your Xbox One console.
- Press the power button on the guitar controller to turn it on.
- The controller should automatically pair with the USB dongle. A solid light on both the dongle and the controller indicates a successful connection. If not, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

Guitar Hero Live offers two primary game modes: GH Live and GHTV.
GH Live Mode
Experience the thrill of performing live on stage with a first-person perspective. Real crowds react dynamically to your performance, providing an immersive experience. Your bandmates will also provide feedback based on your playing.

GHTV Mode
GHTV is the world's first playable music video network. It provides access to hundreds of music videos, all playable at any time. The library is continually updated, offering a wide variety of genres including rock, punk, country, and the latest hits. You can choose a channel to play along to curated music video programs or select specific songs from the song catalog.
Complete challenges to level up, unlock songs on demand, and access premium content such as live concerts and special releases.

Vocal Support
For an enhanced social experience, vocalists can join in by connecting a USB microphone to the Xbox One. Lyrics will appear on a dedicated highway at the top of the screen, allowing singers to accompany the guitarist.
Multiplayer
Engage in head-to-head competitions in your living room by connecting a second guitar controller, or compete with friends online. The game supports multiple players for a shared musical experience.
