Setup

- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 115V/60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords.
- Drainage Options:
- Manual Drainage (Bucket): The unit will collect water in the internal bucket. When the bucket is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and an indicator light will illuminate. Empty the bucket and replace it securely to resume operation.
- Continuous Drainage (Hose): For continuous operation without emptying the bucket, attach a standard garden hose (not included) to the continuous drain outlet located on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to a floor drain or suitable receptacle to allow gravity drainage.
Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the control panel for optimal use.
- Power On/Off: Press the Power button to turn the unit on or off.
- Setting Desired Humidity: Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to set the desired humidity level between 35% and 80% relative humidity (RH). The unit will operate until the set humidity level is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it.
- Fan Speed: Select High or Low fan speed using the Fan Speed button. High speed provides faster dehumidification, while Low speed offers quieter operation.
- Timer Function:
- Auto-On Timer: With the unit off, press the Timer button. Use the Up/Down arrows to set the desired number of hours (1-24) until the unit turns on.
- Auto-Off Timer: With the unit on, press the Timer button. Use the Up/Down arrows to set the desired number of hours (1-24) until the unit turns off.
- Comfort Mode: Activate the Comfort mode for automatic humidity control based on the ambient room temperature. This setting optimizes operation for general comfort.
- Full Bucket Indicator: When the water collection bucket is full, the "Bucket Full" indicator light will illuminate, and the unit will automatically shut off. Empty the bucket and replace it securely to resume operation.
- Auto Defrost: If frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the unit will automatically enter defrost mode. The compressor will turn off, and the fan will continue to run until the frost melts. Operation will resume automatically.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your dehumidifier.
- Cleaning the Air Filter:
- The "Check Filter" light will illuminate after approximately 250 hours of operation.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not use a dishwasher.
- Once the filter is reinstalled, press the "Filter" button to reset the filter timer.
- Cleaning the Water Bucket:
- Periodically clean the water collection bucket to prevent mold and mildew growth.
- Remove the bucket from the unit.
- Wash with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Ensure the bucket is completely dry before replacing it in the unit.
- Cleaning the Unit Exterior:
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or solvents.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water bucket is empty and clean, and the filter is clean and dry. Coil the power cord neatly. Store the unit upright in a cool, dry place.
