- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or disposal.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Wash the stone grill plate and raclette pans with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely.
- Placement: Place the raclette grill on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the appliance for ventilation. Do not place it directly under cabinets or near flammable materials.
- Assemble: Place the natural stone grill plate securely on top of the heating element unit.
- Power Connection: Ensure the thermostat knob is set to "MIN" (off position). Plug the power cord into a grounded 220V wall outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Preheating
- After setup, turn the thermostat knob clockwise from "MIN" to the desired temperature setting. For grilling, a higher setting (closer to "MAX") is generally recommended. For raclette pans, a medium setting is often sufficient.
- Allow the grill to preheat for approximately 10-15 minutes. The stone plate requires more time to heat evenly compared to metal grill plates.
5.2 Using the Grill Plate
The natural stone grill plate is ideal for cooking meats, vegetables, and other foods directly.
- Lightly oil the stone plate before placing food on it, if desired.
- Place food directly onto the hot stone plate.
- Turn food as needed to ensure even cooking.
- Use heat-resistant utensils to avoid scratching the stone surface.

5.3 Using the Raclette Pans
The individual raclette pans are designed for melting cheese, cooking small portions of vegetables, or keeping sauces warm.
- Place desired ingredients (e.g., raclette cheese, pre-cooked potatoes, small vegetable pieces) into the non-stick pans.
- Slide the pans into the designated slots beneath the heating element.
- Monitor the food closely as cooking times vary.
- Use the included spatulas (if applicable, or wooden/plastic spatulas) to remove food from the pans.
