  • Route your cables through the designated channels along the arm.
  • This helps prevent tangles and provides a cleaner aesthetic.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Periodic Checks: Regularly check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight and secure. Re-tighten if necessary.
  • Gas Spring: The gas spring is designed for long-term use and generally requires no maintenance. If the arm becomes difficult to move or does not hold its position, re-adjust the tension as described in the Setup section.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Arm does not hold position or sags.

  • Solution: The gas spring tension may be too low for the weight of your device. Increase the tension by turning the adjustment screw counter-clockwise (refer to "Adjust Gas Spring Tension" in Setup).
  • Solution: Ensure all pivot point screws are adequately tightened.

Issue: Arm is too stiff to move.

  • Solution: The gas spring tension may be too high. Reduce the tension by turning the adjustment screw clockwise (refer to "Adjust Gas Spring Tension" in Setup).
  • Solution: Ensure the arm is fully assembled and that no packaging materials are obstructing movement.

Issue: Laptop feels unstable on the tray.

  • Solution: Ensure the adjustable buckle clasps are securely tightened around your laptop.
  • Solution: Verify your laptop's weight is within the specified range (1.1-8.8 lbs).

Issue: Monitor does not fit.

  • Solution: Confirm your monitor's VESA mounting pattern is either 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
