Setup
Battery Installation
The Streamlight Sidewinder Compact II uses two CR123A batteries. Ensure correct polarity when inserting.

Mounting Options
The Sidewinder Compact II comes with a helmet mount and a headstrap for versatile attachment.
- Headstrap: Attach the flashlight to the headstrap by sliding the clip into the designated slot. Adjust the strap for a comfortable and secure fit on your head.

Operating Instructions
The Sidewinder Compact II features a multi-directional switch for selecting light sources and adjusting brightness.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the main power button for approximately 1 second to turn the flashlight on or off.
- Selecting Light Source: Rotate the selector switch to choose between White C4 LED, Red LED, Blue LED, or Infrared (IR) LED. The switch typically has distinct detents for each position.
- Brightness Adjustment: Once a light source is selected, press the main power button repeatedly to cycle through brightness levels (e.g., Low, Medium, High, Strobe). The flashlight will remember the last brightness setting used for each color.

Maintenance
