3. Setup

3.1 Setting the Time

1. Pull the crown out to position 2 (the outermost position). The second hand will stop.
2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the hour and minute hands to the desired time. Ensure the AM/PM is correctly set if your watch has a 24-hour indicator or date changes at midnight.
3. Push the crown back into position 0 (normal position) to start the watch.

3.2 Setting the Date

1. Pull the crown out to position 1 (the first click).
2. Turn the crown clockwise to adjust the date. Do not attempt to set the date between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this may damage the movement. If the date needs to be set during this period, first set the time outside this range, then set the date, and finally reset the time.
3. Once the correct date is displayed, push the crown back into position 0.

4. Operating the Chronograph

The chronograph function allows you to measure elapsed time independently of the main time display.

4.1 Starting and Stopping

1. Press pusher A (top pusher) to start the chronograph. The chronograph second hand will begin to move.
2. Press pusher A again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be displayed on the chronograph sub-dials.

4.2 Resetting

1. After stopping the chronograph (using pusher A), press pusher B (bottom pusher) to reset all chronograph hands to their zero positions.

4.3 Split Time Measurement (if applicable)

Some chronograph models allow for split-time measurement. If your model supports this:

1. Press pusher A to start the chronograph.
2. Press pusher B to measure a split time. The chronograph hands will stop, allowing you to read the elapsed time, while the internal timing continues.
3. Press pusher B again to release the split time. The chronograph hands will instantly catch up to the ongoing elapsed time.
4. Press pusher A to stop the chronograph.
5. Press pusher B to reset the chronograph.

5.1 Cleaning Your Watch

To maintain the appearance of your watch:

• Wipe the case and metal band regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
• For stainless steel bands, a soft brush with mild soapy water can be used, followed by thorough rinsing and drying. Ensure the crown is pushed in before cleaning.
• Avoid using chemical cleaners, as they may damage the watch's finish.

5.2 Water Resistance

Your watch is water resistant up to 50 meters (165 feet), indicated as 5ATM. This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming in shallow water. It is not suitable for diving, snorkeling, or high-impact water sports. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.
