1. Product Overview

2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before operating the Hozelock EasyClear. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or installation.

4. Setup and Installation

The Hozelock EasyClear is designed for simple, submerged installation directly in your pond.

5. Operating Instructions

The Hozelock EasyClear operates continuously to maintain pond clarity and health. It features an integrated bypass for continuous operation of the fountain and/or waterfall even if the foam filter cartridge is blocked.

• Filtration: Water is drawn into the unit, passing through the foam filter which traps solid debris down to 2mm. It then flows over the Bio Kaldness media, where beneficial bacteria colonize and break down harmful waste products.
• UVC Clarification: The integrated 7W UVC lamp exposes the water to ultraviolet light, which clumps together microscopic algae particles, making them easier for the filter to remove and preventing green water.
• Fountain/Waterfall: The pump circulates the treated water back into the pond, either through the adjustable fountain or via a connection for a waterfall (connection not explicitly detailed in product description, but implied by "bypass for waterfall").

6.1. Filter Cleaning
