Setup Instructions

  1. Connect the Programmer: Attach the AQUA CONTROL C4099N Irrigation Programmer to your outdoor tap using the 3/4" tap adapter. Ensure a tight, leak-free connection.
  2. Install the Main Hose: Lay out the 25-meter Ø 16 mm polyethylene hose to form the main distribution line for your irrigation system. Position it strategically to cover the areas you wish to water.
  3. Connect the Filter: Install the filter between the programmer and the main hose to prevent debris from clogging the system.
  4. Branch with Microtubes: Use the punch tool to create small holes in the 16 mm main hose where you want to branch off to individual plants. Insert the microtube connectors into these holes.
  5. Attach Microtubes and Drippers: Connect the 4 mm microtubes to the microtube connectors. At the end of each microtube, attach a removable dripper. Use stake supports to secure the microtubes and drippers near the base of your plants.
  6. Seal the System: Use the Ø 16 mm end caps to seal the ends of your main distribution hose.
  7. Check for Leaks: Turn on the water supply briefly to check for any leaks in the system. Tighten connections as needed.

  2. Set Watering Duration: Use the "DURACIÓN" (Duration) dial to specify how long each watering cycle should last. Options typically range from 1 to 120 minutes.
  3. Battery Installation: Ensure fresh batteries are installed in the programmer. The "BATTERY" indicator will show the battery status.
  4. Manual Operation: Some programmers may have a manual override function. Refer to the specific programmer's markings for this option.
  5. Start Program: Once frequency and duration are set, the programmer will automatically activate the irrigation system according to your schedule.

This reliable and simple-to-program timer ensures your plants receive consistent and precise watering, optimizing water usage.

Maintenance

  • Filter Cleaning: Regularly check and clean the filter to prevent blockages and ensure optimal water flow.
  • Dripper Inspection: Periodically inspect drippers for clogs. Removable drippers can be cleaned or replaced if necessary.
