Setup
- Placement: Position the pump on a stable, flat surface at the bottom of your pond. Ensure it is fully submerged. The integrated suction cups on the base can help secure it.
- Hose Connection:
- For filter operation or water features, connect the appropriate hose (25mm, 32mm, or 40mm) to the multi-step hose adapter. Cut the adapter to the desired diameter for optimal flow.
- For fountain operation, attach the desired fountain head (jet or bell) directly to the pump's outlet. The height of the fountain can be easily adjusted.
- Electrical Connection: Route the 10-meter power cable safely to a weatherproof outdoor electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is protected by an RCD. Do not plug in the pump until it is fully submerged and all connections are secure.
- Submersion: Ensure the pump is completely submerged in water before connecting to power.
Operating Instructions
Once the pump is correctly installed and submerged, plug it into the power outlet. The pump will begin to operate immediately, circulating water or creating the desired fountain effect.
- Flow Adjustment: The pump's flow rate is fixed at 4900 L/H. For fountain applications, the height can be adjusted by extending or retracting the fountain stem.
- Continuous Operation: The pump is designed for continuous operation in a pond environment.
Maintenance

- Disconnect Power: Always unplug the pump from the power supply before any maintenance.
- Cleaning the Pre-filter:
The pump features a large pre-filter casing to prevent large debris from entering the impeller. Periodically remove the casing and clean any accumulated debris. This can be done by rinsing under clean water.
- Impeller Cleaning:
If the pump's performance decreases, the impeller may be clogged. Carefully remove the impeller cover and clean the impeller and its chamber. Use a soft brush to remove any algae or mineral deposits. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Winter Storage: During freezing temperatures, remove the pump from the pond, clean it thoroughly, and store it in a frost-free location submerged in water or completely dry.
