2. Setup
2.1 What's in the Box
Upon unboxing your Nikon D7200, ensure all components are present:

2.2 Initial Camera Setup
- Charge the Battery: Insert the EN-EL15 battery into the MH-25a charger and connect it to a power outlet. The charging indicator will blink during charging and turn steady when complete.
- Insert Battery: Open the battery chamber cover on the bottom of the camera and insert the charged EN-EL15 battery.
- Attach Lens: Remove the body cap from the camera and the rear lens cap from the 18-140mm VR lens. Align the mounting marks on the lens and camera body, then rotate the lens clockwise until it clicks into place.
- Insert Memory Card: Open the memory card slot cover. Insert an SD memory card (sold separately) into slot 1 until it clicks. The D7200 supports two SD card slots.
- Attach Neck Strap: Securely attach the AN-DC1 camera strap to the camera's strap lugs.

Turn the camera on using the power switch. Select your desired shooting mode using the mode dial (P, S, A, M for advanced control, or various scene modes for automated settings).
