1. Introduction

2. Setup and Assembly

2.3 Adding Fuel and Oil

Before starting, fill the engine with appropriate engine oil (refer to specifications for type and quantity) and fresh unleaded gasoline. Do not overfill. Always refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Starting the Engine

  1. Ensure the spark plug wire is securely attached.
  2. Move the throttle lever to the "START" or "CHOKE" position.
  3. Firmly pull the starter cord until the engine starts.
  4. Once started, move the throttle lever to the "RUN" position.

3.2 Mowing

Adjust the cutting height using the lever near the wheels. For best results, avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass blade length at a time. Overlap cutting paths slightly to ensure even coverage.

3.3 Stopping the Engine

Release the engine control lever (bail bar) on the handle. The engine should stop automatically. If it does not, move the throttle lever to the "STOP" position. Disconnect the spark plug wire for safety when not in use.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your lawn mower.

4.1 Cleaning

After each use, clean grass clippings from the underside of the mower deck. Use a brush or scraper. Do not use a high-pressure washer directly on the engine or electrical components.

4.2 Air Filter Inspection

Check the air filter regularly and clean or replace it if it is dirty. A clogged air filter can reduce engine performance.

4.3 Oil Change

Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of operation, and then every 25 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Refer to the engine manual for specific oil type and capacity.

4.4 Spark Plug

Inspect the spark plug annually. Clean or replace if necessary. Ensure the gap is set correctly.

4.5 Storage

For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer. Clean the mower thoroughly and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
