2. Safety Instructions
Your safety is paramount. Adhere to the following safety guidelines:
- Wind and Weather Conditions: Do not set up or use the tent in strong winds, heavy rain, snow, or thunderstorms. High winds can cause structural damage or lift the tent, leading to injury or property damage.
- Anchoring: Always ensure the tent is securely anchored to the ground using all provided pegs and guy ropes. Insufficient anchoring can lead to the tent collapsing or blowing away.
- Fire Safety: Keep all heat sources, open flames, and flammable materials away from the tent canvas. The PVC material is not fireproof.
- Assembly Personnel: Assembly requires a minimum of 3-4 people for tents of 5m width or more to ensure safe handling of heavy components.
- Site Selection: Choose a level, clear area free from overhead obstructions (e.g., power lines, tree branches) and sharp objects on the ground.
- Structural Integrity: Do not hang heavy objects from the tent frame or roof. The structure is designed for the tent's intended use only.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the assembly area to prevent accidents.

4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and efficient assembly. Refer to the numbered diagrams in your printed manual for visual guidance.
4.1. Prepare the Site
- Select a flat, clear area for the tent, ensuring adequate space around the tent for anchoring.
- Clear any debris, sharp objects, or potential hazards from the ground.
4.2. Assemble the Frame
- Unpack all steel frame components and lay them out, grouping similar parts. Tubes are typically numbered for easier identification.
- Begin by assembling the roof structure. Connect the ridge poles and rafters using the appropriate connectors. Ensure all bolted connections are secured with wing nuts.
- Attach the leg poles to the roof structure. The frame uses fully galvanized steel poles (approx. 38mm diameter) and connectors (approx. 42mm diameter) with a bolted assembly system for strength.
- Once the basic frame is upright, ensure all connections are tight.

4.3. Install the Roof Tarp
- Carefully unfold the single-piece PVC roof tarp.
- With the help of at least 3-4 people, lift the roof tarp over the assembled frame. Position it centrally.
- Secure the roof tarp to the frame using the provided bungees, ensuring it is taut and evenly distributed. The roof tarp is 100% waterproof with welded seams.
4.4. Attach Side and Gable Walls
- Attach the gable (end) walls first. One gable part typically includes a zippered entrance.
- Then, attach the individual 2m wide side wall sections. These feature wind deflectors and window elements.
- Secure all wall sections to the frame using bungees. Ensure the XXL floor skirt is properly positioned for protection against wind and moisture.

4.5. Anchor the Tent
- Drive the pegs/stakes into the ground at each leg and at points where guy ropes will be attached.
- Attach and tighten all guy ropes to provide additional stability against wind.
Estimated Assembly Time:
- For 5m width or more (like this 6x8m model): Approximately 2.2-2.5 hours with 3-4 people.
5. Operating Instructions
Once assembled, your TOOLPORT Party Tent is ready for use. Here are some operational guidelines:
5.1. Access and Ventilation
- Use the zippered entrance on the gable wall for entry and exit.
- The side walls can be individually removed or rolled up to allow for optimal air circulation and temperature regulation, especially in warmer weather.

Image 5.1: Interior view with open entrance.
5.2. Tent Capacity
The 6x8m tent offers a floor area of 48m². You can estimate guest capacity as follows:
- Seated Guests: Approximately 48m² / 1.2 = 40 guests.
- Standing Guests: Approximately 48m² / 0.5 = 96 guests.
These are estimates; actual capacity may vary based on furniture layout and event type.
6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the lifespan of your TOOLPORT Party Tent:
- Cleaning: Clean the PVC tarps with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the material. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
- Frame Inspection: Regularly inspect the steel frame for any signs of rust, bending, or loose connections. Tighten bolts as needed.
- Tarp Inspection: Check the PVC tarps for tears, punctures, or weakened seams. Small repairs can often be made with a PVC repair kit.
- Storage: When not in use, disassemble the tent and store all components in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and pests. Ensure tarps are completely dry to prevent mold and mildew.
7. Troubleshooting
Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:
- Water Pooling on Roof: Ensure the roof tarp is installed tautly and evenly. Check that all frame components are correctly assembled and not sagging.
- Tent Instability: Verify that all frame connections are securely bolted. Ensure all pegs are fully driven into the ground and guy ropes are properly tensioned and anchored. Re-evaluate site conditions for excessive wind.
- Difficulty Zipping Doors: Check if the tent frame is square and level. Uneven tension on the canvas can cause zippers to misalign.
- Condensation Inside: Ensure adequate ventilation by opening side walls or the entrance when weather permits.
