2. Important Safety Instructions
Please read and follow all safety instructions to prevent electric shock, fire, or other hazards.
- Power Source: Only use the specified power adapter for this unit. Ensure the voltage matches your local power supply.
- Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Water and Moisture: Do not use this apparatus near water or expose it to dripping or splashing.

4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your JOYO DC-30 amplifier:
- Placement: Place the amplifier on a stable, flat surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the AC IN port on the rear panel of the amplifier. Plug the other end into a suitable power outlet. Ensure the amplifier's POWER switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
- Guitar Connection: Connect your guitar to the INPUT jack on the front panel using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
- Auxiliary Input (Optional): If you wish to play along with external audio, connect your CD player, MP3 player, or other audio source to the AUX IN jack on the rear panel using a 3.5mm stereo cable.
- Headphones (Optional): For silent practice, connect headphones to the PHONES jack on the rear panel. This will mute the internal speaker.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off
Locate the POWER switch on the rear panel. Flip it to the ON position to power on the amplifier. Flip it to OFF to power down.
5.2. Amplifier Simulations
The DC-30 offers 8 different amplifier simulations. Use the AMP selector knob to choose from the following models:
- Roland Jazz Chorus (JC CLEAN)
- Wave-X C-Clean (CLEAN)
- Ibanez TS9 (BLUES)
- Boss SD-1 (CRUNCH)
- MI Audio Crunch Box (RHYTHM)
- Wave-X Power Drive Lead (LEAD)
- Wave-X Power Drive Rhythm (METAL)
- Boss MT-2 (MT-2)
Adjust the GAIN knob to control the amount of overdrive or distortion for the selected amp model. The VOLUME knob controls the overall output level of the amplifier.
5.3. Tone Controls
Shape your sound using the 3-band equalizer:
- BASS: Adjusts the low-frequency content.
- MIDDLE: Adjusts the mid-frequency content.
- TREBLE: Adjusts the high-frequency content.
5.4. Effects Section
The DC-30 includes a variety of built-in effects:
- MODULATION: Select from Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, and Tremolo using the MODULATION knob. Adjust the effect intensity with the corresponding control.
- DELAY: Controls the delay time and feedback.
- REVERB: Controls the amount of reverb.
5.5. Drum Machine
The integrated drum machine features 36 patterns. Use the RHYTHM TEMPO and RHYTHM VOLUME controls to adjust the drum machine's playback. The TURN knob selects the drum pattern, and the ACTIVE button engages or disengages the drum machine.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your DC-30 amplifier, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Sound:
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected and the amplifier is powered on.
- Check that your guitar cable is properly connected to both the guitar and the amplifier's INPUT jack.
- Verify that the amplifier's VOLUME knob is turned up.
- If headphones are connected to the PHONES jack, disconnect them to enable the internal speaker.
- Distorted or Unwanted Noise:
- Reduce the GAIN setting.
- Check for faulty cables or connections.
- Ensure the guitar's volume knob is not set too high, causing signal clipping.
- Effects Not Working:
- Ensure the effect knob (MODULATION, DELAY, REVERB) is turned up from its minimum setting.
- Confirm that the selected amp model is compatible with the desired effect.
- Drum Machine Not Playing:
- Ensure the RHYTHM VOLUME knob is turned up.
- Press the ACTIVE button to engage the drum machine.
- Adjust the RHYTHM TEMPO knob to ensure it's not set to an extremely slow tempo.
