The D-handle can be adjusted along the shaft for optimal comfort and control. Loosen the handle's fasteners, slide it to the desired position, and tighten securely.

After each use, clean the trimmer head and guard to remove grass clippings and debris. This prevents buildup that can affect performance and motor life. Use compressed air to clear vents if necessary.

3. Storage

Store the trimmer in a dry, secure location away from children. Remove the battery before storing for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

  • Trimmer not starting: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Check that the safety switch is engaged before pulling the trigger.
  • Line not feeding: If the line does not advance when bumped, check for tangled line or debris in the spool head. Ensure the line is correctly wound.
  • Reduced performance: A dull or short line can reduce cutting efficiency. Replace or advance the line. Ensure the speed setting is appropriate for the task.
