Camera Components

3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the camera battery. Connect the camera to a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter) using the provided Micro USB cable. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
3.2 Inserting a MicroSD Card
The camera requires a MicroSD card (not included) to store photos and videos. Use a Class 10 or UHS-I (U1) or higher MicroSD card, up to 64GB capacity, for optimal performance.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Locate the MicroSD card slot.
- Insert the MicroSD card with the gold contacts facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card until it springs out.
Note: Format the MicroSD card in the camera's settings menu before first use and periodically thereafter to ensure stable recording.
3.3 Attaching Mounts and Accessories
The Kitvision Venture 4K comes with various mounts and adapters to suit different activities. Ensure all mounts are securely fastened before use.

- Waterproof Case: Essential for underwater use (up to 30m) and protection against dust, dirt, and impacts. Ensure the case is properly sealed before submerging.
- Adhesive Mounts: Use with adhesive pads to attach the camera to flat or curved surfaces like helmets or vehicles.
- Bike Mount: Securely attach the camera to bicycle handlebars or other tubes.
- Tripod Adapters: Allow connection to standard tripods or other mounting accessories.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 3 seconds. The camera will beep, and the LCD screen will turn on.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 3 seconds. The camera will beep, and the LCD screen will turn off.
4.2 Switching Modes
Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle through the available modes:
- Video Mode: For recording video footage.
- Photo Mode: For capturing still images.
- Playback Mode: To review recorded videos and photos.
- Settings Mode: To adjust camera settings.
4.3 Recording Video
- Switch to Video Mode.
- Press the Shutter/Select button to start recording. The red indicator light will flash, and a recording icon will appear on the screen.
- Press the Shutter/Select button again to stop recording. The red indicator light will stop flashing.
4.4 Taking Photos
- Switch to Photo Mode.
- Press the Shutter/Select button to take a photo. The camera will emit a shutter sound (if enabled).
4.5 Wi-Fi Connectivity
The Kitvision Venture 4K features integrated Wi-Fi for remote control and file transfer via a smartphone app.
- Enable Wi-Fi in the camera's settings menu.
- Download the official Kitvision app (or compatible action camera app) from your smartphone's app store.
- Connect your smartphone to the camera's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password displayed on the camera screen).
- Open the app to control the camera, view live footage, and download media.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Camera
- Use the provided microfiber cloth to clean the lens and LCD screen.
- For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Ensure the camera is dry before placing it in the waterproof case.
5.2 Waterproof Case Care
- After using the waterproof case in saltwater, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and allow it to air dry.
