Introduction

Welcome to the Monopoly Here and Now World Edition game. This manual provides comprehensive instructions for setting up, playing, and maintaining your game. This edition offers a unique global travel experience, allowing players to acquire famous cities and collect passport stamps.

Components

Before starting, ensure all components listed below are present:

• 1 Gameboard
• 4 Tokens
• 4 Passports (plastic)
• 42 Passport Stamps (plastic): 22 location stamps & 20 first class stamps
• 14 Chance cards
• 14 Here & Now cards
• 1 Money Pack

Setup

Follow these steps to prepare your game for play:

1. Unfold the gameboard and place it on a flat surface.
2. Each player chooses a token and places it on the "GO" space.
3. Each player takes one plastic passport.
4. Separate the 22 location stamps and 20 first class stamps. Place them near the board, accessible to all players.
5. Shuffle the Chance cards and place them face down on the designated space on the board.
6. Shuffle the Here & Now cards and place them face down on the designated space on the board.
7. Designate one player as the Banker. The Banker is responsible for the Money Pack and the Banker's Tray. The Banker distributes starting money to each player as specified in the game rules (refer to the "Operating" section for details).
8. Place the two dice near the board.

Operating (Gameplay)

Objective

The objective of Monopoly Here and Now World Edition is to be the first player to fill their passport with five location stamps and two first class stamps.

Starting the Game

Each player rolls one die. The player with the highest roll goes first. Play proceeds clockwise.

Player Turn

On your turn, follow these steps:

1. Roll the Dice: Roll both dice and move your token clockwise around the board the number of spaces indicated.
2. Land on a Space: The action you take depends on the space your token lands on:
   • Location Space: If you land on an unowned location, you may buy it for the price indicated. If you buy it, take a location stamp of that color and place it in your passport. If you land on an owned location, you must pay the owner the rent indicated on the board.
   • Chance or Here & Now: Draw the top card from the respective pile and follow its instructions.
   • Go: Collect money as you pass or land on "GO".
   • Go to Jail: Move your token directly to Jail. Your turn ends.
   • Free Parking: No action required.
   • First Class Space: If you land on a First Class space, you may buy a First Class stamp for the price indicated and place it in your passport.
3. End Turn: Your turn ends after you complete your action.

Winning the Game
