2. Charging the Battery

  1. Insert the EN-EL12 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery into the camera.
  2. Connect the UC-E21 USB Cable to the camera's USB port and the EH-71P AC Adapter/Charger.
  3. Plug the AC Adapter/Charger into a power outlet. The charging indicator will light up.
  4. Charging is complete when the indicator turns off.

3. Inserting a Memory Card

The camera supports SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards. Open the memory card slot cover, insert the card until it clicks into place, and then close the cover securely.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Press the power button located on the top of the camera to turn it on or off.

2. Using the Vari-Angle Display

The 3.0-inch 921,000-dot Vari-Angle LCD can be swiveled and rotated to various positions, allowing for flexible shooting angles, including self-portraits and vlogging. Gently pull the display out from the side and rotate it to your desired position.

3. Zoom Function

Utilize the 30x optical zoom telephoto lens for distant subjects. The camera also features 60x Dynamic Fine Zoom, an enhanced digital zoom function that effectively doubles your reach. Use the zoom lever around the shutter button to adjust the focal length.
