1. Introduction

The fixture features domes of metal rings, finished in polished chrome, with inset beveled crystals. 2. Safety Information

WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Disconnect power at the fuse box or circuit breaker before installation or servicing.

• All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes and the National Electric Code (NEC). If you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring connections, obtain the services of a qualified electrician.
• This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.
• Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the fixture.
• Do not connect this fixture to an ungrounded electrical system.
• Do not handle any energized fixture or attempt to energize any fixture with wet hands or while standing on a wet or damp surface.
• Use only the hardware provided for installation.

4. Setup & Installation

Professional installation by a qualified electrician is recommended for this product.

Installation Steps:

1. Turn Off Power: Before starting installation, ensure the electrical power is turned off at the main circuit breaker or fuse box to prevent electric shock.
2. Prepare Mounting Location: Ensure the junction box is securely mounted and capable of supporting the fixture's weight.
3. Attach Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the junction box using the provided screws.
4. Adjust Cord Length: Determine the desired hanging height for the pendant. Adjust the suspension cord length as needed.
5. Make Electrical Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding house wires using the provided wire nuts.
   • Connect the black (Live) wire from the fixture to the black (Live) wire from the junction box.
   • Connect the white (Neutral) wire from the fixture to the white (Neutral) wire from the junction box.
   • Connect the green or bare copper (Ground) wire from the fixture to the green or bare copper (Ground) wire from the junction box.
   Ensure all connections are secure.
6. Secure Canopy: Carefully push the wired connections into the junction box. Raise the fixture canopy to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting plate with the provided screws.
7. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions

The ET2 E24497-20PC Parasol Mini Pendant features an integrated LED light source. Once properly installed and power is restored, the fixture can be operated using a standard wall switch.

This fixture is dimmable. To utilize the dimming function, ensure you have a compatible LED dimmer switch installed in your electrical system. Refer to the dimmer switch manufacturer's instructions for proper operation.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning will help maintain the appearance and performance of your pendant light.

• Cleaning: Always turn off the power to the fixture and allow it to cool before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to wipe down the polished chrome finish. For the crystal elements, a mild glass cleaner can be applied to a soft cloth (not directly to the fixture) and then gently wiped. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish or crystals.
• LED Light Source: The LED light source is integrated and designed for long-term use. It is not user-replaceable. If the LED light source fails, contact customer support for assistance.

7. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your pendant light, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Light does not turn on:
  • Check that the power supply is turned on at the circuit breaker.
  • Ensure the wall switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • Verify all electrical connections are secure and correctly wired (refer to Section 4).
  • Confirm that the fixture is properly grounded.
• Light flickers or dims unexpectedly:
  • If using a dimmer, ensure it is compatible with LED fixtures.
  • Check for loose wire connections.
  • Ensure the dimmer is not overloaded.
• Fixture is loose:

  • Tighten the mounting screws securing the canopy to the mounting plate.
