Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Kärcher T 7/1 Classic:

  • Emptying/Replacing Filter Bag: When the suction power decreases or the filter bag is full, replace it with a new non-woven filter bag. To do this, open the unit, remove the full bag, and insert a new one.
  • Cleaning Permanent Filter Basket: The integrated permanent non-woven filter basket is washable. Remove it from the unit and hand wash it at 30°C. Allow it to dry completely before reinserting. This filter allows operation without a filter bag.
  • Checking Motor Protection Filter: Regularly inspect the motor protection filter for dirt and blockages. Clean or replace if necessary to prevent damage to the motor.
  • General Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior of the vacuum cleaner with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
