Setup (Installation)
Professional installation is recommended if you are not experienced with electrical wiring.
- Turn off power: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box and turn off the power to the junction box where the fixture will be installed.
- Prepare mounting: Attach the mounting strap to the junction box using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Wire connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding house wires using wire nuts.
- Connect the black (hot) wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the white (neutral) wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the green or bare copper (ground) wire from the fixture to the green or bare copper (ground) wire from the junction box.
- Mount the fixture: Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box. Align the fixture's canopy with the mounting strap and secure it with the decorative cast knobs or screws provided.
- Install bulbs: Insert three (3) E12 candelabra base bulbs (max 5W LED equivalent to 60W incandescent) into the sockets.
- Attach glass diffuser: Secure the milky etched glass diffuser to the decorative ring according to the specific design of your fixture.
- Restore power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box.

Operating Instructions
Once installed and powered, the Hinkley Collier Semi-Flush Mount operates like any standard ceiling light fixture controlled by a wall switch.
- Bulb Type: Requires three (3) E12 candelabra base bulbs. For optimal performance and energy efficiency, use 5W LED bulbs (60W incandescent equivalent).
- Dimmable Feature: This fixture is dimmable. To utilize this feature, ensure you use dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately).
Maintenance

- Bulb Replacement: Turn off the power before replacing bulbs. Allow bulbs to cool completely before handling. Replace with E12 candelabra base bulbs of the specified wattage.
